Day 01: Delhi
Arrive Delhi airport in the morning. Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. Later, proceed for the full day tour of Old and New Delhi in the afternoon. Old Delhi was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Shahjahan possessed an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, and created the seventh city of Delhi. This process brought about a phase of Delhi's glorious Renaissance. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort, and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shahjahan's symbol of power and elegance, built behind sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually narrow avenue heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city. New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's - it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi after the revolt of 1857. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's which is often known as Lutyen's city. New Delhi the eight cities were designed as an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947. You shall also visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Day 02: Delhi / Agra (210 Kms & 04-05 Hrs.)
After breakfast at the Hotel, drive towards Agra. En-route had to visit the famous tomb of Akbar "Sikandra" and continue the journey towards Agra. Agra was the capital of the great Mughal Empire, during 16- 17 century. This period saw the city became a leading center of art, science, commerce, and culture. References of the origin of this magnificent city are found in the Mahabharata, however Sikandar Lodhi founded the modern city of Agra. Later Akbar's grandfather Babur stayed here for some years but the splendid of Agra heritage was built by Akbar. The short golden age of Agra came to an end with the seventeenth century reign of Shahjahan, mastermind of the Golden Triangle Tour 5 Daysunforgettable Taj Mahal. Afternoon sightseeing of the Agra city, visit Agra Fort, Idmad-Ud-Dola {Baby Taj Mahal}. In the evening visit the world famous monument of love the Taj Mahal during sunset. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 03 : Agra / Jaipur (260 Kms & 05-06 Hrs.)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur (once the capital of Rajasthan province -known as "the abode of Rajahs"). Everywhere you will see the monuments of its Rajput rulers. Jaipur is one of the main centers for shopping in India - especially with regard to textiles, Jewellery, stone carpets, etc. On the way you will visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Ponder the mysterious desertion of this capital city that was dramatically abandoned in a few years after it was built. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast depart for a half day excursion to Amber Fort. 11 Km. From Jaipur, Amber Fort is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort on the back of a gaily-caparisoned elephant, true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interior of the fort has various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror, and glass-work complemented by exquisite wall paintings. As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure, you will feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered.

Later return to the hotel or to a city restaurant where you can relax or enjoy your lunch. Venture back into the city, for the tour of Jaipur. In the afternoon you will visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armory of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, also visit the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 AD). Also visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes, and spires. In the evening we shall drive to Choki Dhani Village resort for special Rajasthani Dinner and return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 : Jaipur / Delhi / Departure
Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to airport to take your flight back home. The trip ends with happy memories of India.
