AGRA'S TRUSTED CAB PARTNER

Taxi Service in AgraYour Ride Is Already Waiting.

Most visitors book a Taxi in Agra twice. Once from home through an app that quotes one price and charges another. Then again at six in the morning outside Agra Cantt, when that booking has quietly disappeared and drivers are shouting at them at once.

We built J2S for the second booking. Booking a Cab in Agra should take one phone call and produce one number. That is the whole of it. Call or WhatsApp +91-9359779797 with your pickup point, your drop, the date and how many of you there are. You get a fixed fare along with the car and driver details, before you commit to anything at all. No advance. No booking fee. You pay after the ride is finished, and the number you were quoted at the start is the number you pay at the end

THE FLEET

Cabs in Agra — Pick the Car That Fits the Trip

Two people going to the Taj and back need a very different car from nine people doing Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and Jaipur over three days. Book too small and someone spends the day with a suitcase on their knees. Book too big and you have paid for four empty seats. Our Agra cab service runs five vehicle types, and choosing between them is a question of fit rather than luxury. Here is the honest version of what each one is actually for.

Mini Car

Mini Car

Hatchback · 4 seats · AC

SUV

SUV

Innova Crysta · 6-7 seats · AC

Tempo Traveller

Tempo Traveller

12-17 seats · AC · Groups

Mini Car — ₹800 per half day

A four-seat AC hatchback. This is the right choice for a short local errand, an airport drop, or a couple doing the Taj and Agra Fort and nothing else. It is the cheapest way to move around Agra without haggling with an auto at every corner. Luggage space is limited to two mid-size bags, so it is not the car for an arrival day.

Sedan — ₹1,500 per day

A Swift Dzire or Toyota Etios, four seats, AC, boot space for two large suitcases. This is what most of our guests end up in and what nearly every fare on this page is quoted against. For two adults with luggage, or three travelling light, the sedan is the sensible default. Comfortable enough for the four-hour run down the Yamuna Expressway, small enough to get through Shahganj without drama.

SUV — ₹3,000 per day

An Innova Crysta with six or seven seats. Take it if you are a family of five or more, if you are carrying real luggage, or if you are heading to Jaipur or Gwalior and want everyone to arrive without a stiff back. The extra ground clearance also earns its keep on the older roads out towards Fatehpur Sikri. It costs double the sedan, and for a group of six it is still cheaper per head.

Force Urbania in Agra (9–17 Seater)

The Urbania is the newer, quieter alternative to a standard tempo traveller, and it is the one we recommend for groups who care about the journey and not only the destination. Push-back seats with proper legroom, individual AC vents, a flat floor you can actually stand up in, and a separate luggage compartment so nobody travels with a bag under their feet. It comes in 9, 12, 13 and 17-seat layouts.

BEYOND THE STANDARD FLEET

BMW and Mercedes — on request

Arranged in advance for weddings, corporate arrivals and anyone who wants the airport pickup to feel like something. Give us a few days' notice and tell us the occasion.

FIRST-TIME VISITOR ALERT

Taxi for Taj Mahal Sightseeing

There is one thing about a taxi for Taj Mahal sightseeing that catches almost every first-time visitor off guard, so we will say it before anything else: no petrol or diesel vehicle can drive up to the gate. A protected zone extends roughly 500 metres around the monument, and that includes our cars, every cab in the city, and the taxi your hotel arranged.

What actually happens is this. Your driver takes you to the Shilpgram parking area if you are entering by the east gate, or to the parking near the west gate off Fatehabad Road. From there it is a short battery-bus or e-rickshaw hop, or a walk of about ten minutes, to the ticket queue. The driver stays parked and waits. You are not paying by the hour and there is no pressure to hurry.

Most guests pair the Taj with Agra Fort, a fifteen-minute drive away, in the same trip.

Plan Around This

  • The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday for prayers — a lot of Thursday-night arrivals get caught out by this without knowing.
  • Go for sunrise — the marble turns grey to pink to white in about forty minutes, and the crowds are a fraction of what they are by nine.
  • Sunrise means a pickup in the dark. Tell us the night before and the car will be outside your hotel at the time you name.
LOCAL PACKAGE

Taxi for Agra Sightseeing — Full Day Local Packages

A full-day taxi for Agra sightseeing runs eight hours and eighty kilometres in a sedan for ₹1,800. That is enough for everything inside the city with room to spare, and the eighty-kilometre allowance is generous rather than tight — most local days come in around fifty.

Taj Mahal
2–3 HOURS

Longer if you go at sunrise.

Agra Fort
90 MINUTES

The red sandstone complex where Shah Jahan spent his last years under house arrest, looking at the Taj from a tower.

Itmad-ud-Daulah — the Baby Taj
45 MINUTES

Smaller, far less crowded, and the inlay work is finer than the Taj's. The one stop people are most surprised by.

Mehtab Bagh
LAST HOUR OF LIGHT

The riverside garden opposite the Taj, best at sunset.

Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra
10 KM OUT

On the Mathura road, with deer and langurs in the grounds.

Fatehpur Sikri sits about forty kilometres west and is a genuinely extraordinary abandoned city, but it will not fit into the same eight hours as everything above. Treat it as its own half day, or as a stop on the way to Jaipur — which is what we would suggest, because it costs you almost nothing in extra driving.

Our advice to every guest: do not try to fit six monuments into one day. Four, properly, beats six in a rush — Agra rewards slowing down. Monument entry tickets and guide fees are separate from the cab fare; we can arrange a licensed guide if you say so when you book, rather than on the morning.

FIXED FARES

Agra Taxi Fares — No Meter Surprises

These are our standard sedan fares for a taxi in Agra and the two routes people ask about most. You will hear the same number on the phone that you see here, and you will pay it at the end of the ride.

Fares change with the vehicle and the season, so an SUV or a tempo traveller on the same route costs more than the sedan figure above — that is the only variable, and we tell you the exact number before you book. What does not happen: night charges appearing at the end, a driver asking for fuel money halfway to Jaipur, or a quote that was for four people quietly becoming a quote for two.

BEYOND AGRA

Outstation Cabs from Agra

Agra is a good base. Delhi, Jaipur, Mathura and Gwalior are all comfortable day-or-overnight distances, and a private cab from Agra beats the train for anything involving luggage, small children or a schedule you want to control.

Agra to Delhi

₹3,200

About four hours on the Yamuna Expressway, one of the better roads in the country. We do a lot of these as airport drops for evening international flights — leave Agra by lunchtime and you will be at Terminal 3 with hours in hand.

Agra to Jaipur

₹3,800

Roughly five hours, and worth breaking at Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri stepwell if you have the day rather than just the transfer. Tell the driver at the start, not at the turning.

Agra to Mathura & Vrindavan

From ₹[price]

Around fifty-five kilometres, an hour and a bit each way. Our most common half-day outstation run — Krishna Janmabhoomi, Banke Bihari, ISKCON and the evening aarti at Vishram Ghat all fit into one long afternoon.

Agra to Fatehpur Sikri

From ₹[price]

Forty kilometres, and the single best half day near the city if you have already done the Taj.

We also run to Gwalior, Lucknow, Varanasi and Rishikesh on request. For anything longer than a day, ask about a multi-day rate with the same driver throughout — it works out cheaper than separate bookings, and by day two your driver knows how your family travels.
